The Ventura County Suns are entering into their fourth year, has a club basketball team. They finished their third year strong with the seventh grade team finishing third in ARC Nationals. Suns Basketball Association, also have a few more faces in the front office. Samuel A. Lewis, remains Chief Executive Officer. A position he has held since the Ventura County Suns started in September 1999 and became non-profit last year. Laurie Barakat, becomes Chief Financial Officer. Kimberly Easterling, is the new Parent Representative. John Babcock, is the new Coaches Representative, he is the current coach of the 7th grade Suns team. John Marquez as taken over the coaching repsonsibilities for the 8th grade Suns. Team Parents are Stephanie Brennan, 7th grade Suns, and Rosemary Patrick, 8th grade Suns. Randy Hoffmann is in charge of providing information to the parents, including the organization's website. "RANDY WE NEED TO GIVE YOU A TITLE?!?!?! ANY IDEAS...."
